WHO ARE WE?
Urban Research Foundation is a Non Profit Organization registered under Section 8 of Companies Act in January 2021. The organization is established with a mission to create a purposeful discourse around urbanization in small and medium cities in India. Through our work, we aim to bring innovative planning and design strategies to these cities. We work closely with local urban administrations, Civic organizations, NGOs as well and private corporations on various local urban issues. Realizing the huge gap in available data from smaller cities and its implication on the effective implementation of State and National Urban missions and programs, we invest our time in building essential data that can help cities make better decisions. Through engaging with citizens, we gain important insights about on-ground implications of urban practices.
